As they age, many people begin to see exercise as just another unwelcome chore. There is little fun in working out with weights, going nowhere on a treadmill or even sweating in the sauna. They are hard pressed for time as it is, and many of them cut out exercise before giving up any of the few pastimes they might enjoy. For them, exercise is something that gives them little or no pleasure.
Finding fun ways to exercise does not need to be difficult, and many people have found they can get back into shape easier by joining a local sports league. There is a shared sense of accomplishment at the end of a match, and they can make new friends at the same time. Some people join with a loved one or friend, but others are simply looking for a new way to combine fun, socialization and exercise into one neat and pleasurable package.
